The Sinking City 2 is a respectable scare fest boasting entertaining puzzle-solving. However, middling combat, flawed progression, and an underwhelming narrative hold it back from reaching the horrific heights of its more celebrated contemporaries.
Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy executes familiar genre staples and delivers a moving story starring a charismatic pirate on what may be the most impactful and tragic adventure of her life.
Lumino City is beautiful,
but when it comes to puzzles, story, and characters, it plays things
safe without offering quite the same inspiration as its visuals.
While Temple of Osiris kicks the number
of co-op players up to four, the game is largely a retread of 2010’s
Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light. And I’m okay with that.
