The Sinking City 2 is a respectable scare fest boasting entertaining puzzle-solving. However, middling combat, flawed progression, and an underwhelming narrative hold it back from reaching the horrific heights of its more celebrated contemporaries.
Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy executes familiar genre staples and delivers a moving story starring a charismatic pirate on what may be the most impactful and tragic adventure of her life.
H.A.W.X. 2 explores a number of clever
variations on the air combat theme, but it’s not enough to make up for
a weak story, sub-par production values, and the standard mission
structure.
Both the cartoon
and game take a lighthearted approach to crime fighting more in tune
with Adam West’s live-action show from the ‘60s. Cheesy one-liners are
thrown as often as punches, but they elicited genuine laughs.
Like a star player at the apex of his career, NHL 11 still shines on the ice, but as age creeps up on the stalwart
franchise some of its
weaknesses are starting to appear more evident.
The wide variety of unique, mind-bending challenges offered in this
upcoming PSN title makes Tumble one of the more desirable Move launch
games to date, especially when a friend joins in for local multiplayer.
Many gamers are quick to dismiss Move as a simple Wii clone, but Sports Champions does as good of a job showing off the exciting feats the new
peripheral can accomplish.
